Youth GO Monitoring Visit to Kara-Balta

On April 13, the Youth GO project team visited Kara-Balta as part of a monitoring visit ✨

During the visit, a productive meeting was held with Deputy Mayor Kozhomkulov Akmatbek Ulanovich. The team discussed the project results, received valuable feedback, and outlined further steps to strengthen youth engagement in governance, civic participation, and digital skills development.

Special attention was given to meetings with initiative groups ahead of the small grants implementation — plans, ideas, and opportunities for developing youth initiatives were discussed 🤝

The project “Empowering Youth through Digital Skills” (Youth GO) is funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).

It is implemented by the Institute for Youth Development (IYD) in partnership with DVV International in Kyrgyzstan.
